Our History
This restaurant began in 1976 as a soup, sandwich and ice cream parlor called House of Flavors. We changed our name to Finish Line Family Restaurant, because over the years, we began adding breakfast, lunch and dinner options to the menu. Our owner, Lisa Slade, began working for the restaurant as a waitress in 1977, while she was in high school. She purchased it in 1995 and has owned it ever since.
We have won our local newspaper’s People’s Choice Award for Best Breakfast for the past 18 years. We have also won Best Country Cooking and Best Diner.
Our Staff
Most of our staff has been with us for many years. Our customers often become friends with our staff. It’s what makes our restaurant so special. Our friendly team adds to our customers’ dining experience.
